The true measure of a university's greatness can be found in the achievements of its alumni. Purdue University is globally known to develop leaders in many fields of endeavor, especially n the areas of engineering and technology. This is why we honor the achievements of outstanding graduates whose personal stature has reflected an exceptionally large measure of acclaim on the College of Technology's departments and the disciplines they represent.

Each year, the college honors the outstanding professional achievements of its graduates through the Distinguished Technology Alumni Award program. Candidates for the award are those who have made significant contributions to society, and whose accomplishments, affiliations, and careers have honored the legacy of excellence at Purdue University.
