Delphi Automotive Scholarship
Purpose:
The Delphi Autmotive Scholarships in the
Department of Organizational Leadership and Supervision are
intended to reward the academic achievement of students in
the Department. The scholarships will be in the amount of
$2500 each to deserving students pursuing an Organizational
Leadership and Supervision undergraduate degree. The students
who are selected during their junior or senior year must exemplify
high achievement in their academic career as well as involvement
and leadership in extracurricular activities.
Criteria:
- Pursuit of an Organizational Leadership and Supervision
degree.
- Junior or senior standing as of the time of application.
- Full-time student status
- Graduate of a U.S. High School
- Academic achievement - minimum cumulative GPA 3.2
- Demonstrated leadership skill in extracurricular activities
- Interest in manufacturing career
The Delphi Automotive Scholarships will be in the amount
of (2) $2500 scholarships.
Selection Process:
The Organizational Leadership Scholarship
committee will screen applicants based on the scholarship
criteria. The College of Technology scholarship coordinator
will make the final selection decsion and notify the selected
applicants and Delphi of the outcome.
To apply for the Delphi Automotive Scholarship
submit a letter addressing why you should be considered for
the scholarship and an explanation of any financial need.
Include a copy of your latest college transript and an updated
resume. Submit to OLS Scholarship Committee, Purdue University,
Young Hall, 151 S. Grant St.,West Lafayette, IN 47906-3572.
Application deadline is January 15, 2005.
