Biography
Dr. Homan is currently an assistant professor in Organizational Leadership
and Supervision at Purdue University. Prior to his appointment to the Purdue faculty he was a professor of human resource management in Northwest Nazarene University MBA program in Nampa, Idaho. Professor Homan earned his Ph.D. in Educational Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University. He also holds a Masters degree in Industrial Technology and a Bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership both from Purdue University. While studying for his doctorate, professor Homan participated in leading edge research in the field of workforce development. Dr. Homan has also worked for Andersen Consulting (Change Management Services, Chicago World Headquarters Office) and the United States Department of Agriculture (New England and Indiana). Currently Dr. Homan is working with government and private sector business in the area of workforce development
and he contributes weekly to the Wall Street Journal's ProfessorJournal.com
initiative.
