MET 102 Production Design & Specification Class 1, Lab 5, Credits 3. Prerequisites CGT 110 and MET 162. Course description: The design, evaluation, and documentation of engineering specifications required of manufacturability and assembly are introduced. Emphasis is on CAD-based details, assemblies, design layouts, equipment installations, and related industrial practices. Additionally this course introduces students to standardization and standardization systems, reflecting the vital role standards play in both U.S. and international technical practice. Required

IMPORTANT: For the Fall 2008 semester, IronCAD 10 HF4 is the only version being used in the Knoy Hall B018 lab. However, across the whole West Lafayette Campus previous versions may still be in use. Any version other than 10.0 HF4 should not be used, as it would be incompatible with your work accomplished in B018.
