Machine Tool Laboratory
The Machine Tool Laboratory is located in Michael Golden Laboratories
and has approximately 6,100 square feet utilized by lab groups of 15 students each. The
School of Industrial Engineering administers the laboratory, but the Department of
Mechanical Engineering Technology shares its utilization.
The laboratory serves:
MET 242 (Manufacturing Processes),
CIMT 400 (Computer Integrated Manufacturing).
Available equipment includes: lathes, mills, and other conventional
machine tools in addition to computer numerically controlled tool machines and industrial
robots
