Industrial Technology 278 Clock Project

 Teaching Construction Technology

Fall 2003

This semester we will be completing clocks in the lab.  This exercise will familiarize you with equipment similar to your future technology education classrooms.  Each student will work on the project for four weeks at various assigned lab times.  Each student is required to obtain the wood material prior to their assigned lab time.

Materials Needed

We will be using soft pine in the Technology Education Lab.  You will need to purchase the material from a store of your choice and bring into the lab during your scheduled time.  Table 1.1 lists the parts and the size of the rough stock.  Please do not buy a lot of excess lumber.  We do not have the required room in the lab to store it.

Table 1.1
