The Purdue University Digital Enterprise Center is comprised of applied research laboratories, classroom facilities, e-business systems, and the technical infrastructure needed to support project-based learning and education in digital enterprise technology.
This interdisciplinary center leverages Purdue University's strengths in Technology, Engineering, and Management, to provide solutions that support industry goals of maximizing potential of information management, computing, graphics, and telecommunications technologies.
The Center represents a Purdue-Industry partnership. Through sponsored projects, advisory relationships, and financial support, industry partners assure that the Center achieves its goals in preparing students to perform effectively in the quickly evolving e-business environment. The Center also serves as an educational resource for industry.
The Product Lifecycle Management Laboratory is an applied research laboratory where advanced digital enterprise e-business technology can be studied and demonstrated. This interdisciplinary laboratory leverages Purdue University's strengths in Technology, Engineering, and Management, to provide solutions that support industry goals of maximizing potential of information management, computing, graphics, and telecommunications technologies.
The Laboratory is a Purdue-Industry partnership. Through collaboration, funded project sponsorship, and direct contribution, industry partners receive value while helping the Laboratory achieve its goals.

- Provide education in the digital enterprise for students and industry
- Create a demonstration and simulation center where components of the digital enterprise can be studied
- Provide project-based learning opportunity for students and staff through collaborative relationships with industry
- Provide a resource for interdisciplinary study and development of the digital enterprise
- Develop digital enterprise e-business solutions for industry
