On behalf of the Electrical Engineering Technology
faculty at Purdue University welcome to our
web site.
We operate as a team and all players - both
faculty and students - are considered to be
members of the team. Not all members of the
team have the same role! As a faculty we are
here to help you meet your educational goals,
and we are extremely pleased when our students
perform well.
Faculty provide support for students in a variety of ways -
meetings in their offices, group help sessions, booster classes for introductory courses,
and supplementary course information on the web.
Our eight laboratories have electronic test instruments and other equipment that is
comparable to what our graduates find in industry. Laboratory work is performed in support
of the theory presented in lectures at all levels of the program. New students work in the
circuits, digital, and projects laboratories while advanced students also work in
telecommunications, industrial automation & power, and microprocessor/microcomputer
laboratories.
Our graduates have outstanding success in finding employment. Career paths vary - most
EET graduates accept engineering titled positions in industry while others accept
employment in a variety of other fields. Examples include manager, technical writer,
salesperson, patent attorney, and consultant.
In addition to West Lafayette, we offer the Associate of Science program at
Anderson, Columbus,
Kokomo,
New Albany, and
South Bend and the Bachelor of Science
program at Kokomo, and
South Bend,
As you tour our EET web site, you will learn about the faculty, facilities, curriculum,
and many other aspects of the department.
Have a good tour! |
