End-User Computing Minor/Service Courses
The demand for increased computing literacy in all
academic majors is pervasive. The CIT Department offers several service courses that, when taken as outlined below,
constitute the end-user computing minor. This minor can be attached to any Purdue
University major that will accommodate or allow it. The program
emphasizes personal computing problem solving skills that can be applied
to any academic subject or career profession. Graduates are prepared to
provide microcomputer or departmental computing expertise to their
chosen academic major and subject specializations. For more information,

CIT Minor Policies:
Effective Fall 2008: No course may be taken Pass/Fail.
Transfer credit and course substitutions limited to 3 credit hours.
A grade of C or better must be earned in any course used to fulfill the CIT minor.
Each academic department that wishes to request space in the CIT minor's
courses must establish a CIT Minor plan of study code with the Registrar.
