CIT Mini Proposals -- How Can You Help CIT?

Background

Because of the generosity of our corporate partners, friends, and alumni, the Department of Computer and Information Technology has been able to accomplish many of its goals aimed at being a premier IT program. The impact of these monetary gifts has resulted in state, national, and international exposure for the Department and faculty. Because of gifts from our supporters, the Department has been able to fund travel for students and faculty at national conferences, support the annual Computer Roundtable job placement event, provide fees for IT competitions, certification exams, scholarships, and the like.

Opportunities

Oftentimes industry partners, alumni, and friends ask us, "How can I help?" This page is a starting point for reading about other opportunities that the Department faculty have identified and are eager to lead and see to fruition. We invite you to peruse the mini-proposals and contact the appropriate faculty member(s) to offer your support and help make a positive difference. Partnerships like this will help keep the Department in a position of academic excellence and national prominence in information technology!
