Course Information

This course explores the various quality and productivity models used by Information Technology management to ensure quality in their systems development processes. Special emphasis is placed on learning and understanding process metrics and measurements as well as such initiatives as Total Quality Management (TQM), ITIL, Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and the Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMM & CMMI) as a comprehensive framework for process management, thus ensuring a realistic and balanced approach to process improvement.
