Policies, Rules, and Safety Regulations

- All campers MUST attend each and every session at the camp. In an effort to ensure that any camper who does not report to an event is safe, the Purdue Police Department will be notified immediately when it is discovered that the camper is missing. If a student breaks this rule more than once, he/she will be immediately excused from the camp for the remainder of the week. No refunds will be issued to those who are asked to leave the camp under such conditions.
- Campers are not to venture out alone. All campers must be accompanied by another camper, or in small groups, at all times.
- Campers are not allowed to change dorm rooms with another camper. This will ensure that we can account for everyone should we have to evacuate the dorm for any reason.
- Smoking is not allowed in any building on the campus, or at any camp events.
- Alcohol and illegal drugs in any form are prohibited on the Purdue campus. Violations must, by university bylaw, be reported to the Purdue Police Department. Violators will be excused immediately from the camp for the remainder of the week. No refunds will be issued to those who are asked to leave the camp under such conditions.

- Please be sure to carry your camp ID card and room key with you at all times. Binders should be with you at all computer sessions. You may leave your binders in your dorm room during evening entertainment times and on Thursday (Tour Day).
- If you become sick during the camp, please inform a Computer Graphics Technology (CGT) faculty member immediately.
- Misconduct (such as physical or verbal abuse) toward another member of the camp, or a faculty member will not be tolerated. Violators will immediately be excused from the camp for the remainder of the week. No refunds will be issued to those who are asked to leave the camp under such conditions.
- Should you discover that any of your personal possessions are missing from your room, or at any other location where camp sessions or activities are held, you should immediately notify a counselor or CGT faculty member.
- Campers who are discovered to be in restricted areas of the dorm, or other areas designated as “Off Limits” by university officials and/or camp faculty members, will immediately be dismissed from the camp. No refunds will be issued to those who are asked to leave the camp under such conditions.
