  • All exercises are due midnight, July 3rd: All exercises (EC01-EC20) that you expect to be graded are due by midnight EST, July 3rd.
  • Reminder: Exam 2 and Project 2: Exam 2 will be on Thursday, July 3. It will begin at 9:00 AM and will take 2 hours. Project 2 will also be due at noon on July 3rd.
  • Grades are caught up; project 1 is graded.: All exercise grading is caught up and project 1 grades are now online. I will be picking up the exam this morning and will update the grades system shortly thereafter.
  • Online Grades: Your grades will be distributed online via the link above called Check Grades. You should have received an email from me containing your login (if you did not, contact me via email). PLEASE NOTE: You must use Internet Explorer to access this site.
  • Vids: Stream and Zip format: On the weekly layout page, the lecture videos are not available in both streaming and zip format. If you are experiencing latency/sync issues (audio and video), download the zip, unzip it in a single directory/folder, and open the .htm in the directory/folder into the browser. [ Link ]
  • Accessing the Classes Drive from Off Campus: We discovered that FTPing into the classes drive is going to be a problem. Instead (if you are off campus), I am going to have you mount the G (classes drive) to submit assignments. See the associated link for instructions. [ Link ]
  • Introductory Video Lecture: The introductory video lecture is now online. I suggest viewing it at a resolution of larger than 1024x768. Other lectures will be posted on the weekly layout page directly. [ Link ]
  • Welcome to CGT/CIT 141/141D: This web site is set up for students taking CGT 141, CIT 141, and CGT 141D for the summer session from June 9 to July 3. All students enrolled in the course (141) will access the same materials. All lectures will be provided electronically via this web site. All students will be required to be on campus to take two exams and to turn in two projects (on the same days). Please see the weekly layout page for information. Students will also submit assignments and projects to the G: drive (classes drive) either in the lab or via FTP from their remote location.
  • Submitting Files to G Drive in Lab: This short article tells how to submit files to the G drive when you are in laboratory. [ Link ]
  • How to access course materials: You must prefix your login with sot\ Please see the bullet closer to the bottom - entering logins and passwords on the web. [ Link ]
  • Computing Resources: Many of you have had questions about computing resources (a.k.a., what is the difference between the G drive, H drive, career account space, etc.), the link provides a document I have put together to explain what resources you have access to, and where you can find out information about them. I will also be adding a section to this shortly that will tell how to interconnect the network resources (so you can see TCN drives in ITaP labs and ITaP drives in TCN). [ Link ]
