Stuttering for Kids by Kids is a video project created by CGT students aimed at stuttering kids. This video, created for the Stuttering Foundation of America (SFA), has been seen by thousands of children around the world to help them understand and cope with their stuttering. Swish, an animated basketball with engaging, human-like features, is one of the stars.
Swish is the creation of Michelle Jackson, Helen Kang, Ali Modara, and Rich Sun. Since his debut in the Spring of 2004, Swish has been a huge hit. The DVD can be found in every public library in the U.S. Articles have appeared on the pages of Woman’s Day, Virginia Journal of Education, and Queens Family to name a few. The video was also awarded the Adding Wisdom Award by Parent to Parent, a guide for parents in choosing products for their children that not only entertain, but also add wisdom.
