Nicoletta is Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University. She received her Master in Architecture from the University of Florence, Italy and she is a Certified Animator and Instructor for Alias. Prior to joining Purdue, Nicoletta has taught courses in the fields of 3D Modeling, 2D and 3D Animation, Multimedia and Web Design at various institutions including: the University of California, Riverside; DeVry Institute of |
| Technology, Pomona, CA; Augustana College, Rock Island, IL and Marycrest International University, Davenport, IA. She has produced award-winning graphics and animations (aired on national television) for companies such as Marvel Comics and Genesis Designs and she has received public recognition for the design of several web sites. Her special area of expertise is in Character Animation and Character Design.

Special congratulations goes out to Nate Hartman for receiving the Outstanding Non-Tenured Faculty Award.
Nathan W. Hartman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Purdue University and his doctorate from North Carolina State University. Dr. Hartman’s primary teaching responsibility is undergraduate instruction in engineering graphics and graduate instruction in the foundations and philosophies of graphic science.Prior to coming to Purdue, Dr. Hartman held several positions in industry, including production of engineering design graphics and corporate training in the use of constraint-based 3D CAD tools.

Kellen Maicher was selected for the departmental Dwyer Award nomination for outstanding teaching. The selection process was directed by representatives of the CGT student leadership associated with SIGGRAPH, the CGT Student Council, and Epsilon Pi Tau under the supervision of the CGT Department Head. An electronic vote was administered to CGT majors and minors in December 2005 through SSINFO. Approximately 250 students voted. Professor Maicher received the most votes.
Kellen is an Assistant Professor specializing in Interactive Multimedia in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University. In his professional experience he has worked as a multimedia project manager and freelance new media developer.

Gary Bertoline was awarded the Distinguished Service Citation, the highest level of professional recognition awarded from Epsilon Pi Tau, the International Honor Society for Professions in Technology.
Epsilon Pi Tau recognizes academic excellence of students in fields devoted to the study of technology and the preparation of practitioners for the technology professions. We constantly seek out qualified students in degree and certificate programs in accredited higher education institutions.

Bertoline is Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies in the College of Technology at Purdue University, Professor in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University, Associate Vice President for Information Technology and Co-Director of the Envision Center for Data Perceptualization .

Craig Miller was awarded the Laureate Citation from the Epsilon Pi Tau, the International Honor Society for Professions in Technology.
