Minor in Manufacturing Graphics

 

Mission

The mission of the Manufacturing Graphics minor offered by the Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University is to expose majors outside the Department of Computer Graphics Technology to manufacturing graphics expertise in their chosen academic major and subject specializations.  Students who complete the minor will gain applied knowledge in current and emerging graphics theories and computer graphics technologies associated with the design, documentation, and manufacture of products and related services.

 

Prerequisite Courses

The following prerequisite courses (one in each area) are required before enrolling in CGT 226:

·         CGT 163 Introduction to Graphics for Manufacturing

*Each of the above programs must approve the minor through their curriculum committee before students can receive credit for the minor.

Students enrolled in the CGT/MG minor may only enroll in the CGT/MG courses listed in this minor.
