Estimator. Responsible for supervising the estimating
department for a general construction company. Responsibilities
included supervision of four estimators, decision to bid, reviewing
the estimates, developing the bidding strategy, determining markup,
competitive bid, design build, and negotiations with industrial
clients. Projects included schools, industrial plants, banks, hospitals,
retail facilities, military base work, sewage treatment plants,
and correctional centers.
- 1978-85. Project
Manager. Responsibilities included contract negotiations,
contract document evaluations, purchasing, coordination of subcontractors,
scheduling, and profit projections. Development of computer systems
for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
