There are three separate groups that combine to make the competition team:

HVAC Team

The heating and airway ventilations group is in charge of regulating the air in the room to make it comfortable and clean. They are responsible for deciding which system works best for the structure they are renovating.

Plumbing Team

The plumbing group is responsible for creating systems that remove waste from the water and supplies all palatable water. They try to utilize green systems to encourage higher use of water efficiency.

Proposal Team

This is by far the most important part of the competition team’s project. The proposal team takes the information that the HVAC and Plumbing groups have come up with and puts them in a proposal. This proposal will be presented in front of a group of professional contractors who will rate the teams from each school based on their presentation. How well they utilize their building materials and make them energy efficient down to how cost efficient is the project.
