Biography
Dr. Cynthia L. Tomovic has been a faculty member for the past thirteen years in the School of Technology, Department of Organizational Leadership and Supervision, Purdue University where she teaches in organizational behavior. Dr. Tomovic holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in Higher Education Administration and a M.S. degree in Organizational Psychology, as well as a M.Ed from the University of Illinois, Chicago, in Policy Analysis and Program Evaluation and Research Design and a B.A. in Anthropology.
She has authored and/or presented over fifty papers on the human side of quality, human resource management, leadership, ISO 9000, and faculty development and assessment in higher education. In addition, Dr. Tomovic delivers workshops on Leadership, Management of Change, Team Development, Issues in Total Quality Management, Quality Function Deployment, and ISO 9000 to professional associations and industrial clients. As a consultant or faculty extern, she has served such clients as General Motors, TRW, IBM, and Whirlpool Corporation. |
