Mr. Taylor is interested in the general area of the application of ergonomics principles to the design of industrial work environments.  His experience in industry has lead him to the conclusion that the ñnewî generation of workers is physically less capable than their parents and grandparents due in large part to lifestyle and demographic trends.  He believes that the proliferation of carpal tunnel syndrome, back injuries (real or perceived), and other cumulative trauma disorders from repetitive exposure is due to the relatively poor conditioning and lack of acclimatization to industrial work of young workers
