Faculty and Staff

Dr. Schmidt is committed to scholarship, as is evidenced by her grant submissions to research areas which will improve her knowledge of course topics and improve learning in the courses she teaches.  The incorporation of research and teaching includes an interest in problem-based learning, course and curriculum development, and industrial training.  She has also continued research in the field of operations management topics which are related to industrial distribution, including inventory management, e-commerce, logistics, and project management.  She continues research in both new delivery methods and industrial distribution topics.
