Purdue University invites applications for
two (2) tenure track positions within the School of Technology.
The openings are anticipated at Kokomo and the South Bend
or New Albany locations. The Purdue School of Technology System
was created to extend Purdue's existing technology programs
across the state to help meet Indiana's need for trained engineering
technologists and technicians. The statewide system represents
a direct academic and administrative extension of the School
of Technology at the West Lafayette campus.
The position requires a Master's Degree
and industrial experience; Ph.D. preferred. Teaching experience
is desired. Candidates with backgrounds in graphic design,
interactive multimedia, computer animation, simulation, applied
computer science, computer graphics, architecture, engineering,
and technology are encouraged to apply. Individuals will be
expected to participate in department engagement activities
and have a well-defined discovery agenda. Essential position
responsibilities include classroom instruction as well as
developing curricula. The successful candidate will demonstrate
a strong interest in professional development, scholarship,
and outreach activities at the local, national, and international
levels. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications.
