The Aviation Technology department
offers courses and research opportunities that support the
Master of Science in Technology, a 33 credit hour program
administered by the School
of Technology Graduate Office.
The degree consists of nine
(9) hours of required coursework and a three (3) hour directed
project. The remaining 21 hours of coursework are selected
by each graduate student with assistance from his or her major
professor. The program is extremely flexible and allows
student to develop a unique plan of study that meets their
individual goals and needs.
Although students receive a
M.S. in Technology, each of the eight (8) departments in the
School
of Technology provide courses that support the Technology
graduate program. This allows students to specialize
in specific curriculum areas and work with faculty from those
departments. Students may also select appropriate coursework
from other areas of the university.
Graduate Assistants are available
throughout the school and university. Contact the School
of Technology Graduate Office or individual departments for
available positions and qualifications.
Graduate students also may
participate in research projects and independent study outside
of their specific plan of study. Each graduate faculty
member advertises opportunities as they become available.
